Description
Easy Held Models is an ultra lightweight mod that adds no-code, resource-pack enabled model variants for held items.
For users: this mod is probably a dependency for a mod, a resourcepack, or a modpack.
For artists, mod developers, and pack developers:
- In order to add a held variant of a model, add a "held" directory below "models/item" and then add the held variant to that directory, with the same name as the GUI variant.
- This mod will load any vanilla json models, there is no need to do anything special.
- There is absolutely no need to require Easy Held Models in order for you to support it! If the mod is not present, nothing will happen.
File structure rundown for artists, mod developers, and pack developers:
models/item/[your model here] models/item/held/[your model here]
There are two example items in the mod resourcepack for you to look at. Better documentation will come shortly!
