Alternatecraft

Does normal minecraft have you bored? Have you played so much regular survival, that every world starts to feel the same? Well don't worry! Alternatecraft is here to provide a unique minecraft experience!

Alternatecraft is an overhaul of minecraft's traditional world generation and dimensions. Instead of starting the game in the overworld every single time, the player is able to choose which unique dimension they would like to start their journey in! 

This mod currently features 5 different dimensions that the player can choose to start in, each one with their own challenges and benefits!

-Vitrum, a dimension made of glass and crystal! The whole world is transparent, making mining and finding dungeons a breeze! On the other hand, it has very dangerous enemies and environmental factors. 

-The Slip, a dimension inspired by Minecraft Indev's "Hell" world type. With spiky bushes, lava lakes, permenant night time, you may find this dimension a challenge. Thankfully though, Onyx can be found in this dimension, which can be useful to keep the abundant mobs at bay.

-Dark Forest, a completely flat plane shroudded in the pitch black night. Darkness is your enemy here, and staying in it for too long will cause you to be consumed. 

-Tartarus, the underground desert! The entire dimension is a giant cave, similar to the nether, but made of stone. Tartarus is filled with lakes of acid, and the sandy dunes of the dimension are teeming with mummies and skeletons. May contant unique artifacts.

-Bridges, a challenging skyblock experience. The entire dimension is made up of thin grass bridges with the occasional tree. Lava and ice float below the bridges, and can be used for cobblestone. Ores can be collected in this dimension because of the portals scattered around which spawn ore flies! Ore flies can be killed and drop their respect ore.

After surviving in one dimension, the player can travel to the other ones to conquer them all!
