Amethyst Additions

This mod enhances Minecraft amethysts by adding new items and features in vanilla style.                                                                                                                                                                                                                             
Requires Fabric Shield Lib, MidnightLib, and Fabric API.

 

Main Features

  • Amethyst Lamp

  -   Emits light and particles;

  -   Can be placed on different sides of the block.

  • Amethyst Block

  -   If light provided from one of a sides, amethyst block will dispel it on special particles:

  • Colored Water Cauldrons

Cauldron Coloring

  -   Can be boiled;

  -   If boiled, will start to transform any amethyst blocks on top of them:

  • Colored Amethysts

Colored Amethysts

  -   Colored Amethyst Buds will grow amethysts same color as they.

  • Colored Allays

  -   Duplicating allays with colored amethysts makes the copy with corresponding color:

Colored Enchantments

  -   First you'll need to craft the Amethyst Smithing Temlate of the color you want the enchantment to be;

  -   Then combine the template, enchanted item and lapis on a smithing table to change the color of the enchantment

  • Amethyst Shield

  -   Will deal damage back to the attackers, but each attack will break one of its amethysts.

  -   To restore amethysts you can righ-click them with shield in your inventory

  -   You can enchant shield with mending, unbreaking or sharpness, which will also affect its amethysts

  -   You can add amethysts of different colors to shield, to customise it
