Amplified Nether

256-tall nether with 3D biomes, mountains and more!
Does not follow a specific thematic focus apart from vanilla Minecraft.
Contains enhancements to the Nether dimension, expanding on existing features or adding entirely new ones.
General improvements to world generation, such as bug fixes, aesthetic overhauls, or misc additions.
Data Packs were introduced to vanilla Minecraft in version 1.13 and allow the server to modify data about the game, or run commands. Data Packs are compatible with all mod loaders.
Forge is a popular mod loader for versions 1.1+ of Minecraft.
Neoforge is a fork of the Minecraft Forge available for versions 1.20.1+ of Minecraft. Many Forge mods are compatible with Neoforge and vice versa.
Fabric is a mod loader for versions 1.14+ of Minecraft, particularly popular for client side and optimization mods.
Quilt is a fork of the Fabric mod loader. Many Fabric mods are compatible with Quilt and vice versa.

Description
Stardust Labs has a Discord for Amplified Nether and our other projects!
Amplified Nether is a mod (for both Fabric and Forge) that aims to make the Nether 256 blocks tall while also bringing in the "Amplified" feel. This pack uses the 1.18 features to create brand new terrain in the Nether - with 3D biomes and tons of new terrain types.
It also brings back the Nether mountains from the original Nether Update trailer. Many players saw these and were upset that they weren't in the game - we've added them for you to enjoy!
3D biomes are used extensively as well - you might find a different biome at the base of a mountain than at the top, and you'll find much more biome variation in normal Nether terrain. Biome borders that were previously impossible are now commonplace - any biome can border any other biome!

Amplified Nether
Amplified Nether increases the Nether height to 256 blocks tall, truly ushering in the "Amplified" feel.

Notes
- Amplified Nether is not compatable with Incendium, but often compatable with other nether mods, such as Better Nether
- Do not add this to an existing nether - reset yours first, or use a new world
Description
Amplified Nether uses the new 1.18 features to create brand new terrain in the Nether, with 3D biomes and tons of new terrain types. This datapack holds its charm by adding no new biomes, items, mobs, structures, etc... a simple datapack to just make the vanilla Nether better.
Additionally, Amplified Nether brings back the Nether mountains from the original official Minecraft Nether Update trailer. Many players saw these beautiful mountains, and were upset that they weren't in the game. 3D biomes are used extensively, with much more biome variation. Biome borders that were previously impossible are now commonplace, as any biome can border any other biome!
