Anvil Insight adds a small information button to the vanilla anvil screen that gives you a detailed breakdown of the current operation without changing how anvils actually work.

Click the info button beside **Repair & Name** to open the Insight panel and see exactly what's happening behind the scenes.

Vanilla Mechanics, Explained

Anvil Insight does **not** modify anvil mechanics, XP costs, enchantments, repair behavior, or the Too Expensive limit.

It simply exposes information about the operation that Minecraft normally calculates behind the scenes.

The goal is to make anvils easier to understand while keeping the experience as close to vanilla Minecraft as possible.

Client-Side

Anvil Insight is entirely **client-side**.

You can use it on multiplayer servers without the server having Anvil Insight installed.

- Fabric Loader 0.19.5+
- Fabric API 0.159.0+26.2
- Java 25+

Compatibility

Anvil Insight should work alongside most other Fabric mods.

Compatibility is not guaranteed with mods that completely replace or substantially restructure the vanilla anvil screen.
