AOE Hammer

Upgradeable AOE pickaxes and shovels that mine 3x3, 5x5, and 9x9 areas. Hold Shift to mine a single block.

Hammer Mod adds upgradeable area-of-effect (AOE) mining tools for Fabric. Break one block and the tool mines a square area around it, so large tunnels, strip mines, and terraforming take far less time.

This mod includes two tool lines: Ore Pickaxes for stone and ores, and Shovels for dirt and similar blocks. Each line has three upgrade tiers.

## Features

- AOE mining in 3x3, 5x5, and 9x9
- Pickaxes only break pickaxe-mineable blocks
- Shovels only break shovel-mineable blocks
- Hold Shift (sneak) to mine a single block instead of the full area
- Tooltips show the mining area size
- Larger wall mining (5x5 and 9x9) is offset upward so more of the area is above the block you hit
- Netherite-tier tools are fire resistant
- Tools appear in the Tools & Utilities creative tab

## How to Use

1. Craft a Basic Ore Pickaxe or Basic Shovel.
2. Mine a valid block. The tool breaks a 3x3 area on the face you hit.
3. Upgrade through the crafting recipes to 5x5, then 9x9.
4. Hold Shift while mining if you only want to break one block.
