Description

This mod adds 5 powerful mobs to Minecraft to fight. These include Giant Cow, Spider Queen, Frost Polar Bear, Great Owl and Cave Bear. Giant Cow, Spider Queen and Frost Polar Bear are NOT meant to be anything special.

Giant Cow - Spawns only in Plains. Has 100 health, can attack back but drops lots of beef, leather and xp. Can be milked like regular cows. Cannot be bred. Hold a hay bale in your hand to make one follow you. They also attack hoglins on sight (likely viewing them as threats or competition), but you will never see this fight naturally.

Spider Queen - Spawns in plains, meadows and forests. Has 120 health and functions exactly like a spider despite having a slightly different skin and a much larger size. Will attack not just players but also animals and villagers on sight. Drops lots of spider eyes, string and some cobweb.

Frost Polar Bear - Spawns in any biome a polar bear could. Has 60 health and functions as an aggressive, more realistic polar bear. They can notice players from much further away than most mobs. Will attack villagers. Just drops more fish.

Great Owl - Very rarely found in forest biomes, including birch forest. This giant owl will hover towards players, villagers and animals to attack them. It has 100 health and can fly. It is a very slow mob however. It will drop 1 Great Owl Egg and 4-12 of its feathers. Right-click on a block with the egg to hatch your own loyal owl. The Friendly Owl, will stay in the spot you hatched it and guard by killing hostile monsters nearby. Hold a stick in your hand to make it follow you. While it only has 20 health, its attacks inflict weakness effects. You can duplicate the egg to hatch multiple owls (recipe can be viewed via JEI). The Great Owl Feather, aside from being an item required to duplicate the egg, you can brew a long-lasting slow falling potion out of an awkward potion. You can use it as fuel and you can trade it to Fletcher villagers at master level. Note that Friendly Owls will not attack Great Owls.

Cave Bear - This is the most dangerous mob in the mod. It cannot spawn naturally and is only found in huge cave-like structures that spawn on the surface. These are called Cave Bear Caves. They are very rare to find and for a reason. They will generate in plains, sunflower plains, meadows, forests and flower forests. These caves will contain some ores, random blocks like logs, functional blocks like barrels, 1 chest and 1 cave bear. They appear old and damaged. The Modern Axe can be found inside the chest. Every Cave Bear Cave has always 1 Modern Axe. This axe deals 11 damage and while its slower than most axes, it applies slowness and nausea to anything it hits with solid duration. It will also remove regeneration on the target it hit. Modern Axe has same efficiency as Diamond Axe and is very durable. The Cave Bear has 500 health and attacks almost anything. You can notice it via its glowing eyes. The Cave Bear is extremely fast despite its size, has huge reach, can step up multiple blocks, notice the player from further away and will always attack the player. If killed, it will drop massive amounts of xp, 8-16 cave bear hair, 12-24 cave bear meat and 1 cave bear head. The Cave Bear Head is a pure trophy that can be placed on any block. It cannot be worn. Cave Bear Meat is a better food source than beef, filling up even more hunger and saturation, however it takes longer to cook and eat. Hair of Cave Bear can be used to brew a strength 3 potion out of an akward potion. Lastly, Hair of Cave Bear can be crafted together with a leather and iron helmet, to create the Cave Bear Cap. This helmet has less durability than a Netherite Helmet, but provides more protection and even the "Resistance" effect to the player, at all times when they wear it. Since its quite heavy, it also removes all the following effects inflicted on the player when its worn: Slow Falling, Jump Boost, Nausea, Slowness, Levitation.

Version 1.0.0 of this mod is finished. It may recieve an update.
