Apothic Equipment

Apotheosis introduces affix equipment, superior to standard crafted armor and tools, that can be found by exploring.

But what if you're on skyblock, or lack access to structures? Or simply don't want to rely on luck to find great gear?

This addon for Apotheosis fixes that by adding gem sockets to all recipes for vanilla armor and tools, enabling early upgrades. This makes crafted gear a viable alternative to affix loot, while not being overpowered.

Modifications

Materials:

Leather: 2 sockets
Chainmail*: 2 sockets
Iron: 1 socket
Gold: 3 sockets
Diamond: 1 socket
Turtle Scute: 2 sockets
Netherite: 1 socket (inherited**)

Other items:

Bow: 1 socket
Crossbow: 1 socket
Shield: 1 socket

Dependencies

This mod requires Apotheosis and Apothic Attributes installed.

JEI is recommended for recipes but not required.

Installation

Add the .jar mod file into your mods folder.

Alternatively, you can browse the CurseForge launcher for the mod (if it doesn't show up, try typing the autor's name). Once found, click "Install" to add it to your modpack.

You are free to include this mod in any modpack, public or private.
