Description

Armor Points ++ (Unofficial Port) ⚠️ This is an UNOFFICIAL port of Armor Points ++ by Cheos to Minecraft 26.3 / NeoForge. It is not made, endorsed or supported by Cheos. Please do not report problems with this port to the original author (not on their GitHub, CurseForge, Modrinth or Discord). Post them in the comments of this project instead.

What it does A light-weight mod that overhauls vanilla HUD elements:

shows armor values above 20 (coloured armor rows) stacks multiple rows of health onto one coloured bar toughness, absorption, resistance and protection overlays optional text values and hearts in the tab list an alternative "hallow" texture set by Sopsy_Hallow, and support for resource-pack texture atlases The config is config/armorpointspp-client.toml, with the same options as the original.

What this port changes compared to the original This port is based on the newest upstream code (branch main, commit 24862b8, version 3.1.7-beta1, which was never released upstream; the latest official release is 3.1.5 for Minecraft 1.20.3/1.20.4). It was rebuilt for Minecraft 26.3 and NeoForge.

In-game differences

Bug fix: the value numbers next to the bars are shown again. On 26.3 the colours from the config were drawn fully transparent, so armor, health and toughness numbers were invisible. Bug fix: the chestplate now counts for the Protection overlay. Upstream checked the animal-armour slot instead of the chest slot, so a chestplate's Protection enchantment was ignored. No update check: the port has no update link, so it won't point you to the original's versions. Hurt blink of the health bar follows the same timer that vanilla 26.3 uses for its own health bar. Dedicated servers: the mod doesn't load its code on a dedicated server at all (the original loaded and did nothing). Apart from that, it's meant to behave like upstream 3.1.7-beta1. Technical changes

Ported to Minecraft 26.3 names and APIs (new HUD class, GUI drawing API, Identifier, armour attribute holders); the maximum armor/toughness lookup now reads the real attribute limits again. Client-only entry point, no refmap, no access-transformer line for sprites anymore. New mod icon made for this port (not by Cheos or Sopsy_Hallow). Client & server Client-side by design: all code is client-only, and on a dedicated server the mod doesn't load its code (checked in a server start test). Tested: singleplayer on Windows with Minecraft 26.3 and NeoForge: armor display with toughness/protection overlay, value numbers, stacked health and absorption, damage and regeneration effects, mount hearts and the mod icon. Not tested yet: joining a server that doesn't have the mod. Feedback in the comments is welcome. It uses the same mod id as the original (armorpointspp), so don't install it together with the original.
