Its hard to figure out which armor piece does what without a ingame documentation.
Besides the missing tooltip its great.

Description

  • "Hybrid Armor Masteries" are being considered but I'm too lazy.
  • Suggestions are welcome.

📔 Armor Masteries:

Armor masteries include benefits and drawbacks for each armor, not wearing a full set (partial set) reduce the armor stats by 30% (can be changed in the config):

  • 👣 Armorless Mastery:
    • Adrenaline: +1 Damage.
    • Swift: +10% Attack Speed.
    • Glass Defense: 12% more damage from projectile, 15% more damage from tools

  • 👞 Leather Mastery:
    • Silent Hunter: Sneak speed equals 60% walk speed. Mob detection reduced by 10%.
    • Agile: Sprint hunger reduced by 50%.
    • Flammable: x1.5 Fire/Lava Damage, fire last 50% longer.
    • Clumsy: -10% mining speed, -5% attack speed.

  • ⚡ Copper Mastery (From Divergent Progression Forked):
    • Static Overcharge: Every 3 hits trigger an aoe attack in a 3x3 radius, doing 50% sword damage to 3 nearby mobs.
    • Momentum: gain 5% momentum for every second running, maximum 35% more speed.
    • Conductive: take 50% more magic damage.
    • Overcharged: 10% more hunger consumption.

  • ⛓️ Chainmail Mastery:
    • Dextrous: permanent haste 1.
    • Improvised Weapon: 10% more attack speed and damage for hoe and shovel.
    • Duelist Stance: 15% chance to negate melee damage.
    • Permable: Projectile ignores 35% armour.
    • Open Guard: Unable to use shield.
    • 7.5% extra speed
    • (Add your own mod for chainmail recipe or use Divergent Progression Forked mod).

  • 🛡️ Iron Mastery:
    • Reinforced Grip: Tools gain a passive unbreaking I (can stack with unbreaking enchant), axe swings 10% faster.
    • Sturdy: 30% less knockback, 15% less fall damage.
    • Oxidation: water gives you slowness 2.
    • Stamina Tax: 12% more hunger consumption.
    • 5% less speed.

  • 🥉 Bronze Mastery (Bronze mod):
    • Reinforced Alloy Padding: sword damage is reduced by 15% but attack speed is increased by 10%, knockback resistance increased by 15%.
    • Impact Anchor: Arrow and explosion damage reduced by 15%.
    • Heat Vulnerability: 20% more damage from fire and lava.
    • Compressed: 15% more fall damage.
    • 7.5% slower speed.

    • Stress Disperse: reduce incoming crit damage by 10%, crit attack ignore 10% target armor.
    • Cold Focus: when at 70% health (can be changed) gain resistance 1 for 4 seconds, 1 bonus damage, always crit for 3 seconds, cooldown 20s.
    • Micro-crack: happen every 3 times you get damaged (no matter the source), lose 1 heart every 1 seconds for 3 seconds.
    • Explosion Vulnerability: 50% more explosion damage.
    • 10% less speed.

  • ⬛ Netherite Mastery:
    • Claim Ground: Standing still for 2 seconds will increase melee damage by 1 but increase damage from projectile by 15%, you are also unable to get pushed, or get knockback when standing still, only projectile can do knockback, cooldown 14 seconds. When moving and not standing, your attack damage is reduced by 10%, but attack speed is increased by 10%, projectile has a 20% to richochet and do no damage.

    • 120s of unlucky effect
    • 120s of mining fatigue 1

🪖 Partial Set Penalty & Armor Changes:

  • Not wearing armor with the same materials or same material with full set will make armor 30% less effective (can be disabled).
  • Right click to change or equiping armor is disabled you have to open your inventory to equip armor.
  • Equiping any piece of armor give mining fatigue 1 and slowness 1 for 5 seconds

🛡️ Shield Overhaul (Very experimental):

  • Shield cannot fully block damage they can only block 80% of damage.
  • Tools have a global 20% chance to completely ignore shield, disabling them and doing damage at the same time (Axe is 100%).
  • Shield block projectile like vanilla, but punch I enchantment has a 18% chance to disable shield, while punch II has a 35% to do so.

  • Shield has a 0.25s parry window to knock any mobs back and stun them for 3s(even though I said its 0.25s, it seem to be around 0.5s - 0.75s, no idea about the delay), global tools disable chance and axe ignore this completely, cooldown 7s.
  • When shield is disabled you'll get reeling effect, reducing your speed by 20% (jumping doesn't increase your speed).

Please note that most features can be changed in the config, effects icon are from Minecraft Dungeon.
