Description

Build and revise Psi spells from chat. In a local singleplayer world, look at a Spell Programmer and run /psiai create <prompt> or /psiai improve <prompt>. Use /psiai status or /psiai cancel to manage a request. PsiAI compiles a draft before saving it.

Install: Minecraft 1.21.1, NeoForge 21.1.207, Java 21, Psi 1.21.1-110, and Patchouli 1.21.1-92. Download the matching sidecar ZIP from this beta file's Additional Files on the CurseForge website; the app does not install it. Extract it outside mods. The sidecar needs Node.js 22 or newer and npm.

Install Codex CLI and sign in to ChatGPT with codex login. Start a local world. In PowerShell, switch to that Minecraft instance's folder and run powershell -ExecutionPolicy Bypass -File "C:\path\to\psiai-sidecar\launch.ps1". Keep the terminal open. The sidecar README has setup and troubleshooting steps.

Beta limits: PsiAI can rename spells, add or remove pieces, and change input sides. It cannot set literal parameter values. Voice, dedicated servers, and shared multiplayer requests are not supported. Prompts and spell data are sent to OpenAI. The Codex OAuth integration uses experimental app-server features.
