Description
This mod is a difficulty and fear factor increase from the original "CANTBREATHE : Asphyxiation" mod.
It makes him more powerful, faster, and adds more features and events that add to the name
NIGHTMARE "CANTBREATHE"
What he does:
NIGHTMARE "CANTBREATHE"
He spawns every 3-6 nights (configurable).
When spawned, he will immediately slowly crawl and stalk you.
He disappears after 64 seconds if he fails to stalk you (configurable length),
If you spot him or you get into a 20 block radius,
it triggers a cutscene similar but not the same as the Cave Dweller's "spotted"
You will have 5 seconds to run.
If he catches you then he holds you in place and impales your
head with his arm (instakill, configurable).
He disappears after 64 seconds if he fails to kill you (configurable length)
THE NIGHTMARE STORM
It happens with a 20% chance when NIGHTMARE "CANTBREATHE" spawns. (configurable).
If the storm occurs, a jumpscare will pop up and a split second later, everything
is red with a dark, dense fog around where it's hard to see.
and it rains slowly of blood with red lightning bolts killing every mob
in an 8 block radius where it strikes. Basically just hell in minecraft.
NIGHTMARE "CANTBREATHE" has permanent Speed 1 and every single
player in the world has permanent Slowness 1.
How to configure him:
There will be a file named "nightmare_asphyxation.toml" in your config folder.
#minimum ticks of how long cantbreathe takes to spawn (20 ticks = 1 second)
spawn-min = 12000.0
#maximum ticks of how long cantbreathe takes to spawn (20 ticks = 1 second)
spawn-max = 32000.0
#the amount of ticks of how long cantbreathe takes to disappear while chasing a player, best kept low cause of the kill multiply mechanic disappear-timer = 1291.0
#the square radius of which you have to look at for cantbreathe to activate the spot cutscene
spotted-radius = 10.0
#false removes the kill cutscene and replaces it with normal damage
insta-kill = true
#only works if you have instakill set to false
damage = 20.0
#speed of cantbreathe, for reference a player sprint jumping is 0.36
speed(DOESNT WORK YET) = 0.9
#doesnt really matter, hes supposed to be unkillable but i made it an option anyway.
health(DOESNT WORK YET) = 960.0
#disables the lightning when nightmare cantbreathe starts his spotted cutscene
nightmare-lightning = true
#the amount of ticks of how long cantbreathe takes to disappear while passive
passive-disappear-timer = 1291.0
#false removes the red particles around nightmare cantbreathe

#chance of the nightmare event happening when cantbreathe spawns. min:0 max:100

#nightmare event support for different length of days e.g: you installed a mod that sets the day length from 24000 ticks to 32000.

#the max amount of blocks away he will spawn in a square radius(NOT DISTANCE, A RADIUS) spawn-distance = 96.0
