Assorted Colorizer

Adds colorizer blocks that take on the look of any block you brush onto them. Build a whole room out of stairs, slopes and furniture that all match the wall around them, or hide a door in a wall of the same block.

How it works

  • Right click almost any solid block with an empty colorizer brush to pick it up, then right click colorizer blocks to give them that look. Picking a block up takes it out of the world.
  • A brush gets 16 uses from each block before it goes back to empty. Wash it in a crafting grid with a water bucket to clear it early.
  • In creative, sneak and right click to pick up a new block without washing the brush, and the block stays where it is.

Blocks

  • Slabs, stairs, walls, fences, fence gates, doors and trap doors that work like the vanilla ones.
  • Slopes and pyramids, panels, beams and columns.
  • Tables that join up with the tables next to them and put their legs in the right places, plus chairs, stools and counters.
  • Lamp posts three blocks tall that light up at the top.
  • Fireplaces, stoves, firepits and chimneys.
  • Furniture can be waterlogged and placed on any side of a block.
  • A colorized door in a wall of the same block makes a hidden entrance, and a trap door does the same for a floor.

Config

These are in the assortedcolorizer-common config file.

  • colorizer.colorizerConsumeBlock takes the block out of the world when the brush picks it up. On by default.

Updating from Assorted Decor 11.x

Worlds made with Assorted Decor 11.x keep everything when you switch to this mod. Don't install it beside Assorted Decor 11.x.

Requirements

Colorizer also comes in Assorted Decor with the other Decor mods, if you'd rather have them all in one download.
