Description

Scared of world roll-backs? Tired of having to do /save-all manually? Then AutoSave is the mod for you!

AutoSave started out as a small, light weight, mod for the AVSP modpack, to be used on the AVSP server. The purpose is quite simple: run /save-all with timed intervals of your choosing to help prevent lag. This also disables the vanilla auto-saving which runs far too frequently.
A list of the current features:
- Automatically runs /save-all at a timed interval.
- User-defined interval.
- Customizable (and optional) broadcast message.
- In-game and console commands.
- Very light weight.
- Highly customizable.
- Disables Vanilla auto-saving

REQUIRES MINECRAFT 1.12.X AND FORGE
THIS IS A SERVER SIDE MOD ONLY! DO NOT INSTALL ON CLIENT.
ALWAYS BACKUP YOUR SERVER BEFORE INSTALLING A NEW MOD!
- Download the newest version of AutoSave from curseforge.com
- Drop as-x.x.x. jar into your mods folder.
- Start your forge server.
- Edit config to your desire.
- Restart your forge server.
- Enjoy.

First time you start the server with AutoSave installed in will generate a config file called as.cfg which can be located in the config folder.
Let's take a look at it.
# Configuration file
general {
# Set your announce message.
S:announceMessage=World Saved! #--- This is your announcement message.
# Enable broadcast?
B:disableBroadcast=false #--- If true, then there will be no broadcast.
# Time in minutes.
I:saveInterval=5 #--- Save interval in minutes.
# Set your server name.
S:serverName=AutoSave #--- This name will appear in brackets before your broadcast message.
}

AutoSave currently just have one simple command:
- /as save - runs /save-all and broadcasts the defined message. <--- ONLY AVAILABLE FOR SERVER OPS OR CONSOLE.

We got a lot of possible features planned for AutoSave! To list some of them:
- Ability to customize broadcast and server name colours.
- A command to edit config variables in game or in console.
- Take over the world.

This mod will not magically prevent any sort of damage to your world saves! You should always backup your server files as often as possible. AutoSaves function is to prevent the minor rollbacks that sometimes happens when a server crashes. It cannot repair or save a corrupted world file.
AutoSave will not be hold liable for any lost files. Always use a backup.
