Babies Galore Have you ever looked at a mob and thought, “Why doesn’t that have a baby version?” Well, with Babies Galore, now it does! 🎉

This data pack turns almost every vanilla mob that doesn’t already have a baby variant into one that can — no resource pack needed! From Creepers to Witches, Guardians to Phantoms (and even hidden mobs like Illusioners and Giants) — if it’s not supposed to have a baby… now it does!

🧩 Compatibility & Customisation

Don’t see a mob you expected? Or want to add your own modded mobs? No worries — it’s fully customisable! You can easily add your own mobs by editing one simple file.

How to add your own baby mobs

  1. Extract it and open: data/babies_galore/tags/entity_type/

  2. Open babies.json.

  3. On the last line (currently "minecraft:wither_skeleton"), add a comma and a new line.

  4. Add your new mob in quotes — formatted as namespace:mob_id (e.g. betternether:hydrogen_jellyfish).

  5. Repeat for as many mobs as you like — just remember commas between entries!

  6. Save the file and reload your world. Done! 🎈
