About

Description

This small mod came to mind while building a classic farm using pistons and observers for bamboo and sugar cane. While building, I noticed a high loss of items and significant lag. Unfortunately, mud wasn’t added until version 1.19.

Since I couldn’t find any mod offering a similar function, I decided to make my own. This version works perfectly in 1.16.5. I’m not sure if anyone else will need it, but if I see one or two comments, I might adapt it for older versions. This way, players can preserve their farms and improve their efficiency.

The crafting recipe is very simple: if you have a mason villager, you’ll basically have unlimited materials to craft as much mud as you need.

Anyway, this is my first contribution. I hope someone finds it useful.

How does this mod work?
It’s very simple, as the name suggests. This mod adds a new block that mimics the behavior of official mud almost entirely. You can plant anything needed for automatic farms on it, and dropped items will pass through the block and be collected by hoppers (using hoppers is mandatory).

P.S. The block is registered under the name BarroMilagroso, so you can find it using JEI. 😉
