Description

🦊 Battlefox

🚀 Intelligent Combat Companions

Battlefox adds loyal combat partners you can tame and wild guardians that patrol and protect areas on your server.

Built with Polymer, everything works seamlessly for vanilla clients. No mods required on the player side.

🦊 From Pet to Partner

Battlefoxes are more than just cute mobs. Once tamed, they become active combat companions that fight alongside you with fast, evasive tactics — quick strikes, smart dodging, and flanking maneuvers that make them genuinely useful in battle.

Each fox develops its own personality and fighting style, making them feel like real partners rather than simple summons.

🛡️ Guardian Mode

Not every fox needs to follow you. Wild Battlefoxes can be set as territorial guardians. They patrol designated areas, attack hostile mobs, and protect bases or farms automatically.

This creates natural, living security for your builds without relying on iron golems or constant player presence.

⚔️ Smart Combat AI

Battlefoxes read every enemy and adapt:

  • Flee from Creepers (never get too close)
  • Kite skeletons and phantoms with circle-strafing and timed pounces
  • Cautious hit-and-run against witches, blazes, and endermen
  • Melee rush on zombies, spiders, and most standard mobs

They also use pounce attacks, emergency protect bursts when your health drops low, and even forage sweet berry bushes to heal themselves when out of combat.

📈 Leveling & Upgrades

Foxes gain XP from killing hostile mobs, landing hits, and protecting you.
They level up to 50 (100 after evolution) and earn upgrade points every 2 levels.

Five upgrade tracks (max 5 each):

  • Armor — bonus defense (stacks with equipped fox armor)
  • Bite — bonus attack damage (stacks with equipped sword)
  • Leap — faster pounce cooldown
  • Instinct — faster movement + longer follow range
  • Recovery — out-of-combat health regeneration

✨ Evolution & Special Moves

At level 50, feed your fox an Enchanted Golden Apple to evolve it.
Evolved foxes become larger, gain soul-flame particles, raise their level cap to 100, and unlock 6 powerful special moves that cycle automatically in combat.

Special moves can be upgraded with evolution points earned past level 50.

🛡️ Gear & Items

  • Equip any sword — damage stacks with the Bite upgrade (Netherite applies Wither II)
  • Tiered Fox Armor (Leather → Netherite) — stacks with Armor upgrade
  • Training Treat — 2× XP for 5 minutes
  • Battle Rations — heals all your foxes within 12 blocks by 8 HP

🪦 Resurrection System

Named bonded foxes can be resurrected.
Place a Pet Cemetery, and when your fox dies a Fox Grave appears above it.
Feed the grave 6 bones to start a 6-minute ritual. Extra bones reduce the timer by 1 minute each.

🏠 Fox Den

A simple 3×3 multiblock den. Place the center block and the rocky shell auto-builds around it. Perfect for a permanent fox home.

📖 Fox Roster & Guide Book

Sneak + use the Fox Tamer’s Handbook to open the full roster GUI.
View, rename, store, release, summon, and manage every fox from one screen.
