Beamworks

This mod lets you build all kinds of curiosities using realistic power tools and girdirs. Some of the features are:

• 3 power tools
• Physics
• Girdirs and wheels, allowing you to build cars and vehicles

These are the three tools, and how to use them:

• Welder - lets you connect metal beams together. This is done by first placing two beams in the desired position touching one another, then holding right click with th ewelder in hand where the seam is. Slowly move the welder until the weld is finished. The pieces are now stuck together. (note: This also works wth wheel flanges, letting you connect wheels to beams.
• Angle Grinder - lets you cut beams to desired lengths. Hold right click while facing a beam at the desired cut position until the cut is finished. The beam is now in 2 halves.
• Gravitron - lets you move beams and structures around, and lock them in space making building much easier. right click on an assembly/beam/wheel to pick up, right click again to drop. While holding, hold down shift and move the mouse to rotate. While golding, press G to lock in space. Grabbing agin unlocks the position. Pressing V enters asembly mode. Right click on a face of a beam/wheel and click on another beam face to temporarily clamp them together. Both parts are now locked in space (same as pressing G) and they are perfectly aligned, ready for welding. This is particularly useful for constructing perfectly square frames. Grab the assembly again to unlock.
