# Bedrock Pattern Finder

A client-side Fabric mod for Minecraft 1.21+ that finds world coordinates by matching bedrock floor patterns. Useful for recovering lost coordinates, seed verification, or locating places when only the bedrock layout is visible.

## Features

* **1.18+ Worldgen Support:** Accurately computes bedrock distribution at `Y=-60` using the modern `RandomSplitter` math.
* **16x16 Grid GUI:** Simple interface to click and recreate the pattern of the bedrock blocks in front of you.
* **Multithreaded Search:** Scans chunks in the background. *(Note: Very large search radii like 1000+ chunks can still cause frame drops while the search is active).*
* **Persistent Inputs:** Automatically saves your last entered seed and search radius across sessions.
* **Client-Side Only:** Runs entirely on the client and works on multiplayer servers, provided you know the world seed.

## Usage

1. Open the menu via `/bedrockfind` or `/bedrockfind gui`.
2. Enter the world seed.
3. Set the chunk search radius (e.g. `100`).
4. Look at the bedrock floor at `Y=-60` and fill in the grid:
   * **Black (Empty):** Wildcard / ignored block (can be anything).
   * **Gray:** Bedrock block.
5. Click **Search Coordinates**. Matching coordinates and rotations are output directly to your chat once found.

## Installation

Requirements:
* Fabric Loader (Minecraft 1.21+)
* Fabric API (recommended)

Drop the downloaded `.jar` file into your `.minecraft/mods` folder.
