Description

What Is This?

You probably clicked on this mod wondering what exactly it changes.

In modern versions of Minecraft, Red and Brown Mushrooms will only spread if there are fewer than 5 mushrooms of the same type within a 9×9×3 area.

However, in Beta Minecraft (including the popular Beta 1.7.3), this check doesn't exist. Because of that, you would commonly see the Nether (and sometimes caves too, since they generated with mushrooms back then) absolutely filled to the brim with mushrooms!

All this mod does is revert that change, allowing mushrooms to spread infinitely just like they did in those old versions.

Note:

This mod does not change how quickly mushrooms spread, only how far they can spread.
