Betlligers!

A people of gamblers. Somewhere in the plains, savannas, meadows and deserts stands a Casinollage - a small village built around a casino, run by the Betlligers and their boss, the Dealliger.

Casinollage

A plaza, five Betlliger houses, two chip golems on guard and a casino with slot machines, roulette and blackjack. Find one with /locate structure betlligers:casinollage.

The Betlligers

Villager-like traders who only take chips:

  • the Dealer sells casino tables and free spin tickets
  • the Banker changes chips and buys and sells gold, diamonds and emeralds
  • the Merchant sells rare goods - sometimes an elytra

The Dealliger

Every casino has exactly one. He deals all three games himself, anywhere. But the casino tables of his village only work while he is alive and at home: kill him and the casino closes for good; lead him away and it closes until he comes back.

The games

  • Slot machine - three reels, a pay table and a progressive jackpot shared by the whole server
  • Roulette - straight, red/black, even/odd, high/low, dozens and columns, up to ten bets per spin
  • Blackjack - hit, stand and double; a blackjack pays 3:2; closing the table plays your hand out

Everything is rolled on the server, and the limits and odds are configurable.

Broken Mayhem

Betlligers! shares its chips, the dice slime and the slot machine with Broken Mayhem (a random event every few minutes). With both installed you get one currency and one jackpot, and Broken Mayhem's casino events also change roulette and blackjack.

Compatibility

Works with REI and JEI (the Betlligers' trades and item info pages; EMI once it is out for 1.21.11), Sodium and Iris.

Installation

Fabric Loader and Fabric API for Minecraft 1.21.11. Install the mod on the server and on every client.
