About
Description
Broken Mayhem
Every 5-10 minutes, something happens. A roulette spins, a fanfare plays, and a random event hits every player - sometimes a gift, sometimes a disaster, sometimes something completely absurd.
700 events in four tiers
| Tier | Chance | Examples |
|---|---|---|
| Basic | 70 % | rain of chickens, sneezing, a free pizza, fortune cookies, lightning dance |
| Rare | 22 % | quests, a chip storm, a golden goblin, a stock market, a visiting gambler |
| Epic | 7 % | a meteor impact, sky islands, a Nether zone, the Zombie Titan, Jackpot Fever |
| Mythic | 1 % | the Arena of Death, the Trial of Chaos, the Mythic Temple, an impossibly OP item |
Events can be good, bad or quests with a reward and a punishment. Every weight, every event and the interval can be changed in game.
Quests
Trivia and math in chat, races, king of the hill, escorts, parkour, bomb defusal, red light / green light… Complete them for chips and loot - or face the punishment.
Mythic events
- Arena of Death - each player is pulled into their own arena against the Inferno Titan, the Void Warden or the Lich, with custom models, three phases and a boss bar.
- Trial of Chaos - five rooms: parkour, waves, traps, a memory floor and a champion.
- Mythic Temple - a trapped and guarded treasure temple.
- Mythic items - the Blade of Chaos, the Staff of Chaos, the Wings of Eternity and the Void Pickaxe.
Chips and the travelling Dealliger
Earn chips from quests, events, bosses, monsters and chip ore. Spend them at the Chip Exchange on items, random packs and services: start the next event now, a lucky charm, choose the next tier, or buy yourself out of a bad event.
Now and then the Dealliger, a travelling gambler, turns up: play his slot machine with a progressive jackpot or trade with him.
Mobs
Wild mallards (and the rare red-eyed knife duck), the Chaosling that throws bad events at you until you tame it with duck meat, the dice slime that rolls its effects, butterflies that fetch your items, goblins, golden chickens, sky pirates, a piñata, and two big bosses: the Zombie Titan and the Phantom King.
And more
- an event journal (key J) with history, a searchable catalog and stats
- in-game settings, also from Mod Menu
- difficulty easy / normal / brutal
- a world border, advancements, English and Czech
Betlligers!
Want a whole casino? Betlligers! adds casino villages with Betlliger traders, roulette and blackjack. Both mods share the same chips and jackpot, and Chaos Mod's casino events (Lucky Hour, Jackpot Fever…) also apply to its tables.
Compatibility
Works with REI, JEI and EMI (Chip Exchange offers, the Dealliger's trades and item info pages), Sodium, Iris and Mod Menu.
Installation
Fabric Loader and Fabric API for Minecraft 1.21.11. Install the mod on the server and on every client.
