About

Description

This mod makes anvils a very viable option, especially when repairing or enchanting items. See the list below for a full list of everything.

This mod only works when installed on the server. It does not function client-side, so it cannot be used to cheat on multiplayer servers.

What changed:

  • Anvils have roughly ~2x more durability
  • Theres no limit on how much XP can be spent (so no more "Too Expensive!" bullcrap)
  • The enchantment tax (more enchantments = more xp when using anvil) is a LOT less scary (the enchantment level + 1 outside all other enchantments)
  • Repairing costs the amount of materials you used

For clarification:

  1. Anvils have a 6% chance to take damage instead of 12%.
  2. The "Too Expensive!" limit is removed and virtually impossible to reach.
  3. For enchantments, theres basically no more extras when it comes to enchanting. Essentially, the level + 1 is the cost. For a Sharpness 5 Unbreaking 3 sword, if you wanted to add mending, it would cost 2 XP levels, a lot cheaper, since Mending is only 1 level, and 1 + 1 = 2.
  4. When repairing something, the amount of materials required to repair it to the max you can is the amount of levels it costs. Essentially, if you repair a sword with 3 diamonds, and it takes 2 diamonds to fully repair it, it will cost 2 XP levels regardless of enchantments. If that doesn't fully repair it, then it would be 3 XP levels. It makes repairing just cheaper.

Essentially, most of the enchantment inflation is removed and anvils are much stronger.
