Better Crafter adds the Smart Crafter, an automatic crafting block that helps keep ingredients in the right slots.

It limits what hoppers can insert so they do not clog the recipe. Ghost slots let you lock a recipe and accept only the ingredients it needs. You can also set it to craft automatically without a redstone signal or clock.

If you're tired of hoppers clogging up your auto-crafters or having to build massive redstone clocks just to craft a few items, I made this mod to fix that.

It adds the Smart Crafter, which is basically a one-block replacement for complex auto-crafting setups.

Why it’s actually better:

• It doesn't get clogged: You can lock a recipe (ghost slots), and the block forces input slots to only hold 1 item at a time. No more hoppers dumping 64 iron into the wrong slot and breaking the machine.
• No Redstone needed: You can toggle "Smart Mode" to make it craft instantly whenever it has ingredients. No clocks or timers required.
• Lag Friendly: It has an internal buffer for output items, so it doesn't spew entities onto the floor and lag your server.
