What's this mod?

This mod improves the hunger mechanics and adds additional mechanics to hunger such as, passive hunger depletion, negative effects when low hunger, losing hunger after sleeping. Your last point of hunger will not drain and you won't die of hunger, but you will suffer it's effects.

FEATURES

Almost everything is configurable. If, for some reason, your minecraft client is crashing, try deleting this mod's config file. It's changing each update and may mess things up in it, causing the client to crash.

Passive Depletion

Your hunger will passively deplete. Self explanatory. Configurable

Hunger Sleep

You will lose 6 points(3 shanks) of hunger/saturation after waking up from bed. Saturation drain is toggleable. Default is on

Hunger Effects

You will receive negative effects when your hunger is low.

Hungry: Can be achieved by reaching 10 hunger points(5 shanks) of hunger which, will then give you the "Hungry" effect which will set your attack speed to 3.9(vanilla is 4.0), and gives you mining fatigue

Starving: Can be achieved by reaching 5 hunger points(2.5 Shanks)(Threshold is configurable). You will be given the "Starving" effect which will adjust your attack speed to 3.85(Vanilla is 4.0) and decreases your attack damage to 2(Default is 3, Vanilla is 1.)

Well-Fed: Can be achieved if your hunger point is 16(8 shanks) or greater. Increases damage to 4, and gives the speed effect when sprinting.

No Hunger Damage

Your last hunger point will not drain, and you will not die of hunger, but you will suffer the negative effects. Configurable

Heavy Armors

Wearing heavy armors such as iron, diamond, or netherite, will add additional exhaustion, draining your hunger faster. The speed does not vary. Toggleable, default is off, as it's unoptimized. Feature suggested by VivaGabe
