Better Inventory Sorting (BTA v8.0.1 port)

This is a port of Sort Chest to BTA v8.0.1

This mod adds several buttons in the GUI (As of now this is only supported by Chest GUI and it will be expanded in the next update to support other GUIs like Inventory).

• Sort: sort items by id, metadata, and quantity.
• Refill: move same items (between chest and inventory) to chest.
• Fill: move items from inventory to chest.
• Dump: move items from chest to inventory.

• Required Babric to run the mod.
• Required HalpLibe in BTA version 7.1 and later.

FAQ

Can I use this mod on a server?

Yes, you can use the better inventory sorting mod on a server. However, the item might jump for a while after sorting because the mod will emulate mouse clicks rather than directly changing the inventory data.

How can I change the key bindings for the mod?

1. Open the mod menu (from ModMenu mod)
2. Select "Better Inventory Sorting" mod.
3. ​Click on the icon on the right.
4. Rebind the keys as you want.

How does the better inventory sorting mod sort items?

Same as the original, items are sorted by their item ID (ascending), followed by their metadata (like wool color code, ascending), and finally by their quantity (descending).

Will this mod receive additional features?

Yes, I am planning to expand this mod so that sorting is not limited to chests. It will also allow players to sort their inventory and will enable its use in other GUIs.

Will this mod support future versions of BTA?

Yes, but that will depend on how much free time I have XD.
