Description
Better Link Party Claim (BLPC)
Chunk claiming with a server-authoritative party system. Optional BetterQuesting and JourneyMap integration.
Chunk Claiming
- Full-screen chunk map (M key) with async terrain rendering and party color overlays
- Drag selection for bulk claim/unclaim/force-load operations
- One-click "unclaim all" / "unload all" buttons
- Claiming requires a party — singleplayer auto-creates one by default
Party System
- Three roles: Owner, Admin (Moderator), Member
- Five trust levels per protected action: None → Ally → Member → Moderator → Owner
- Per-action protection: block edit, block interact, attack entity, item use
- Separate trust level for fake-player automation mods (BuildCraft, EnderIO, etc.)
- Party-vs-party allies and enemies
- Free-to-join toggle, member cap, party color, description, explosion protection
Party Menu
- Tabbed ModularUI party manager: Party Info, Protection, Allies, Enemies, Members, Invitations
- Open Party Menu keybind (P key) — jump straight to the party menu without opening the map
- Searchable player and party lists with action tooltips
- Addons hub for per-mod integration settings (BetterQuesting, JourneyMap)
JourneyMap Integration (v6+)
- Claim overlays — claimed chunks are drawn directly on JourneyMap's map with color-coded regions (own / party / other)
- Toggle button on JourneyMap's fullscreen map to show/hide claim overlays
- BLPC settings in JourneyMap's Addon Options — claim overlays, team waypoint sharing, and sync interval adjustable from JourneyMap's own settings screen
- Team waypoint sharing — the party owner's waypoints are shared with every online member under a locked "BLPC Party" group in JourneyMap
- Only the party owner can add, move, or remove shared waypoints
- Members always see the up-to-date result on their own map
- The group cannot be deleted through JourneyMap's UI
- Force-loaded regions stand out with a bolder outline
Notifications
- Toast notifications for party events: join, leave, kick, disband, invite, ownership transfer, role change
- Transit notifications when a member returns home, an ally visits, or an enemy enters/leaves claimed territory
- Area effects — enemies receive weakness/mining fatigue inside claims; defenders get resistance/strength while invaders are present (configurable)
- Protection status HUD — on-screen indicator showing whether you're in a claimed chunk and who owns it
BetterQuesting Integration (optional)
- Link your BLPC party to a BetterQuesting party with a single toggle
- Quest sharing works unchanged — BLPC integrates into BQu's party system
- Non-linked players are never affected
