Better Mob Combat: Reimagined
Bring Better Combat to hostile humanoid mobs.
Better Mob Combat: Reimagined is a NeoForge 1.21.1 continuation of the original Better Mob Combat, bringing Better Combat's weapon-based combat system to Minecraft's humanoid mobs.
Instead of using vanilla's simple instant melee attacks, mobs now attack using the actual weapon they're holding, complete with animated swings, weapon reach, attack timing, and directional hitboxes.
Features

- Humanoid mobs use Better Combat weapon attacks.
- Mobs swing swords, axes, and other compatible weapons with proper attack animations.
- Weapon reach respects the equipped weapon instead of using vanilla melee distance.
- Directional weapon hitboxes replace vanilla "touch to damage" combat.
- Attack timing is synchronized with swing animations, making enemy attacks more readable and fair.
- Supports vanilla humanoid mobs, including:
- Zombies
- Husks
- Drowned
- Zombie Villagers
- Vindicators
- Piglins
- Piglin Brutes
- Other compatible humanoid mobs
- Entity blacklist for disabling Better Combat on specific entities.
- Extensive configuration options to customize combat behavior.
