Ever hoarded a chest of diamonds and thought, "this should be earning me interest"? Mining 646 turns your loot into a portfolio.

Press M to open your Mining 646 account, a broker app in the style of a modern trading platform, rebuilt out of Minecraft. Pay in any item from your inventory, put the credits to work across 20 stocks, watch prices move live, and cash out whenever you like.

How it works

1. Pay in Open the Pay in / Cash out tab and click any stack in your inventory to deposit it. Right-click deposits a single item. Every item has a credit value: coal, iron, gold, emerald, diamond, netherite, ancient debris, nether stars, totems and more have set prices, and every other item is valued by its rarity.

2. Invest Pick from 20 Minecraft-flavoured companies, from Coal & Co. and Gold Reserve to Diamond Dynamics, Netherite Tech, Creeper Explosives and Elytra Airlines. Choose BUY or SELL, pick an amount (10, 50, 100, 500, 1K, 5K, 10K or ALL) and place the order. Buy fractional shares, so you can own a piece of a 1,250 credit stock with 10 credits.

3. Cash out Sell up and withdraw your credits as items: iron ingots, gold ingots, emeralds, diamonds, netherite ingots, coal, redstone or copper. Items are worth the same going in and out, so the only way to win or lose is the market.

A market that behaves like a market

• Live prices: every stock updates every 5 seconds.
• Real candlestick charts: open, high, low and close, with wicks, a price axis, grid, a moving-average line (SMA 10), a last-price marker and a crosshair that shows each candle's numbers.
• Four timeframes: 5s, 15s, 30s and 1m candles. Each stock starts with 40 minutes of history, so charts are never empty.
• Trends and mean reversion: prices drift with the overall market and pull back toward fair value over time, instead of flying off forever.
• Volatility clustering and fat tails: calm stretches, wild stretches, and the occasional surprise move.
• Market regimes: bullish, bearish and choppy periods that shift over time and lift or sink stocks differently.
• Breaking news: random events such as earnings beats, creeper blasts at HQ and recalls hit single stocks, and rarer events like rate cuts or a Wither storm move the whole market. Headlines scroll across the bottom of the app.
• Different personalities: Gold Reserve is steady and defensive, Zombie Foods is sleepy, Netherite Tech and Creeper Explosives are wild.

Your portfolio

• Total value, cash, amount invested and open profit/loss at a glance.
• Allocation bar showing cash and holdings.
• Per-stock shares, average cost, current price, value and P/L, with one-click Chart and Sell all.
• Positions are marked in the stock list, and your P/L shows right under the chart.

Multiplayer-friendly

The market runs on the server, so every player sees the same prices and the same news at the same time. Every player has their own private account, and everything is saved with the world, so your portfolio and the market history are still there next session.

• No blocks or items are added to the game. Your account lives in the app.
• Install on both client and server for multiplayer. In singleplayer it just works.
