BetterMiner

One key. Every ore. No exploit.

BetterMiner adds a toggle-able vein-mining mode that lets you harvest entire ore veins or tree trunks in one go — while keeping the game balanced by scaling your mining time with the number of blocks you break.

Features

• Vein Mining — Press V (rebindable) to toggle vein-mine mode. Break any ore or log and all connected blocks of the same type follow, in a satisfying cascade wave.
• Balanced by Design — Mining a 64-block vein takes 64× longer than a single block. No instamine exploits, no server lag spike.
• Configurable Limits — Set a max block cap (1–4096) so you control how far the vein can spread.
• Resource Costs — Optionally consume tool durability and/or hunger proportional to blocks broken.
• Ore & Log Support — Works on all ore tags and all log tags. Enable or disable each independently.
• Diagonal Connections — Optional diagonal neighbour detection for naturally-grown trees.
• Server-Authoritative — All settings live server-side. OPs configure via /bmconfig; values sync automatically to every client.
• In-Game Config Screen — Full YACL-powered GUI (requires YACL).
• Multilingual — English & Turkish included out of the box.

Compatibility

Works in singleplayer and multiplayer. The mod runs on both client and server (* environment). Installing only on the server is not supported — both sides need the mod.
