Beware the Green One

“The longer you survive, the more dangerous Creepers become.”

Beware the Green One is a Minecraft mod that makes Creeper explosions grow stronger each time a Creeper explodes.

The first explosion is no different from a normal Creeper. However, the more explosions occur, the larger and more dangerous they become.

The explosion count is saved to the world, so once the multiplier increases, it will not reset.

This mod is more than simply making Creepers stronger.

As the explosions grow, the way you fight Creepers and protect your surroundings will gradually change.

Explosion Modes

Vanilla

Uses Minecraft's standard explosion system.

A simple mode where Creeper explosion power increases over time.

The first explosion is just like a normal Creeper, but each subsequent explosion becomes more powerful.

Enchanted

Uses Beware the Green One's custom explosion system.

Instead of relying on Minecraft's standard explosion processing, this mode uses a custom system designed to handle much larger explosions.

The multiplier increases more slowly than in Vanilla mode, but explosions continue to grow as more Creepers explode, eventually having a major impact on the surrounding terrain.

At high multipliers, explosions can also ignite fires around the affected area.

Advancements

Beware the Green One adds multiple advancements related to Creepers and their explosions.

You can unlock advancements for experiencing the first explosion, using each explosion mode, causing a large-scale explosion, reaching the maximum multiplier, and defending against an explosion with a shield.

Certain advancements also play a special sound when unlocked.

Unlocking every advancement requires you to face Creeper explosions in a variety of ways.

Other Features

• Display the current explosion count and multiplier on the HUD
• Configure the HUD position
• Toggle the HUD on or off
• Save the explosion count to the world
• Explosions from TNT and other sources do not count
• Supports both Japanese and English

Warning

Extremely high explosion multipliers may impact game performance because large numbers of blocks have to be processed.

This is especially noticeable in Enchanted mode, which is capable of producing extremely large explosions.

Beware the Green One は、クリーパーの爆発回数に応じて爆発倍率が上昇していくMinecraft MODです。
最初の爆発は通常のクリーパーと変わりません。しかし、爆発を重ねるほど、その規模は確実に大きくなっていきます。
爆発回数はワールドに保存されるため、一度上昇した倍率がリセットされることはありません。

このMODでできること

このMODは、単にクリーパーの爆発を強化するだけではありません。
爆発を重ねることで、クリーパーとの戦い方や周囲の環境にも少しずつ変化が生まれます。

• いつものクリーパーが、次第に大きな脅威になっていく
• 爆発するたびに、次の爆発がどれほど強くなるのかを意識する
• 拠点や周囲の地形を、クリーパーの爆発から守る

爆発モード

バニラ
Minecraft標準の爆発システムを使用します。
クリーパーの爆発倍率が上昇していく、シンプルなモードです。
最初は通常のクリーパーですが、爆発を重ねるほど、より大きな爆発を起こすようになります。
拡張
Beware the Green One独自の爆発システムを使用するモードです。
Minecraft標準の爆発処理とは異なる方法でブロックを処理することで、より大規模な爆発に対応しています。
倍率の上昇はVanillaよりも緩やかですが、爆発を重ねるにつれて規模は大きくなり、周囲の地形に大きな影響を与えるようになります。
さらに、高倍率の爆発では周囲に火が発生することがあります。

進捗

クリーパーとの戦闘や爆発に関連した、複数の進捗を追加しています。
最初の爆発、爆発モードの使用、大規模な爆発、最大倍率への到達、そして盾による爆発の防御など、さまざまな条件で進捗を解除できます。
重要な進捗を達成した際には、専用のサウンドが再生されます。
すべての進捗を解除するには、クリーパーの爆発にさまざまな方法で立ち向かう必要があります。

注意

爆発倍率が非常に高くなると、大量のブロックが処理されるため、ゲームへの負荷が増加する場合があります。
特にEnchantedモードでは、非常に大規模な爆発を発生させることができます。
