Description

Big Fat Fish is a lightweight and immersive AI chat mod for Minecraft 1.20.1 (Forge). No complicated setup is required—simply fill in your API Key, and you'll have an exclusive AI companion in the game. It can chat with you, remember your past, and accompany you on your adventures!

Features:

· API Compatibility: Single-player games don't have to be lonely anymore! This mod supports most language models that are compatible with the OpenAI API protocol.
· Seamless In-Game Dialogue: Just type directly in the chat bar. No complicated operations—the AI will process and reply to you instantly. Furthermore, you can freely modify the role card in the config file to create your favorite AI persona.
· "Shut Up, FatFish" (Panic Button): If the AI gets stuck in a loop, errors out, or replies too slowly, simply press the K key to instantly interrupt its reply.
· Offline Journal: The next time you log in, the AI will try to catch up by reading its "diary" to remember you. (A slightly painful fact, I know, but that's the current limitation of AI technology.)

Q: Does the mod provide an AI by default?
A: No. You need to go to config/bigfatfish to configure your own API. Please ensure the URL and API Key are correct before playing.

Q: Will chatting with the AI tax my PC's performance?
A: No. The mod supports both cloud APIs and locally deployed AI models. Since the heavy lifting is done either by the API provider or your local server, it won't heavily impact your Minecraft client. However, please be mindful of your token quota (if using a cloud provider) and the context limit configuration.

Q: Can I use this in a multiplayer game?
A: It is currently in the testing stage. It is highly unstable in multiplayer and lacks proper compatibility configurations. Therefore, using it in multiplayer is currently not recommended.
