Botania is one of the most well-designed magic mods in minecraft. While the gameplay and mechanics are slow (although rewarding), and some people may not like the design choice to have non-numerical mana, it has some of the most unique and fun mechanics in modded minecraft. Absolutely recommend trying it if you haven't already.
