Description
Adds expanded Trommel recipes for ores and a specialised, low-durability Superheated Steel tool line with automatic processing effects!
This mod essentially adds equivalencies to the fortune & the fire aspect enchantments, designed to be more in line with BTA
Superheated steel is an expensive specialty tool line, they are not high performance (as good as iron), and their durability is terrible, but they each serve a specific role, much like the golden tools do. The role these tools fill is to add an equivalent to the fire aspect / flame enchantments from modern minecraft, while keeping the design as systemic as possible:
-
Pickaxe: Efficiently processes materials (cooks ores & stone / cobble) -
Shovel: Efficiently processes materials (cooks sand & mud) -
Sword: Fire aspect, sets mobs on fire! -
Axe: Scorches logs -
Hoe: Destroys crops, cooks mud, creates fire, terrible for farming. -
All tools can be used like a flint & steel to create fire, with right click!
I have also expanded trommelling to include ores, gives the player a reason to use gold tools to mine ores directly, so you can trommel them for a chance to get extra materials, the role this recipe fill is to add a balanced equivalent to the fortune enchantment
Also ash trommelling primarily for charcoal, felt that this one was missing from the base of BTA.
