This is an unofficial port of Bulk Villager Trading by bradcarnage (Bradley) (original on CurseForge) to Minecraft 26.3 / NeoForge, by DEHunter58711.

Features

When you shift-click the result slot of a villager trade, vanilla Minecraft only trades as many times as the items in the two payment slots allow. After that the slots are empty, and you'd normally click the trade in the list again to refill them.

This mod does that refill for you:

  • About 150 ms (3 client ticks) after a shift-click trade, the same trade is selected again and the payment slots are refilled from your inventory, using the game's own "select trade" action.
  • Keep shift-clicking until you run out of payment items or the trade is sold out (sold-out trades are never refilled).
  • Works in the trade screen of villagers and wandering traders.
  • Normal clicks, other containers (chests, crafting table, anvil and so on) and the rest of the game are not affected.
  • No keybind, no config, nothing to set up.

Usage

  1. Open a trade screen and pick a trade from the list.
  2. Shift-click the result slot.
  3. Shift-click again after a moment, and repeat as long as you like.

What this port changes compared to the original

The original was released for Forge on Minecraft 1.20.1–1.20.6. This is not a re-upload: the mod was rebuilt for NeoForge 26.3, and its behaviour was changed in these ways.

In-game differences you can notice

  • Window resize keeps your trade: resizing the window or toggling fullscreen while trading keeps the trade you selected. The original jumped back to the first trade, so the next refill used the wrong trade.
  • Closing always resets cleanly: the trade state is cleared however the screen closes: ESC, the inventory key, the villager dying or walking away, disconnecting, or another screen opening. The original only noticed ESC and the inventory key, so its state could get stuck.
  • No refill into a closed or different screen: if you close the screen or switch to another menu right after a shift-click, nothing is refilled there. The trade index is also checked, so a refill can no longer crash with an index error.
  • Singleplayer: only your client's trade menu triggers a refill. In the original, the built-in singleplayer server's menu could trigger it too.
  • No empty config file: the original created an empty bulktrade-common.toml. This port creates none.
  • Quieter logs: the original logged two INFO lines on every trade. This port only logs at DEBUG level.

Technical changes

  • The delayed refill now runs on the game's client thread, counted as 3 client ticks (≈150 ms). The original used a background timer thread that touched the menu from outside the game thread and was never shut down.
  • Ported from Forge 1.20.x to NeoForge 26.3 (new loader APIs, client-only entry point, no obfuscation remapping). The license is now shipped inside the jar.

Requirements

  • Minecraft Java Edition 26.3. Declared range [26.3,26.4), tested on 26.3 only.
  • NeoForge 26.3.0.51-beta or newer.
  • Java 25 (bundled with the official launcher for 26.3).
  • No other mods needed.

Client & server

Client-side by design. All of the mod's logic runs in your game client: the hooks only apply to the client, and it adds no network packets of its own. It only sends the same vanilla "select trade" packet as clicking a trade in the list. On a dedicated server it loads but does nothing (checked in a server test).

Tested: singleplayer on Windows with Minecraft 26.3 and NeoForge: shift-click bulk trading with refilling from the inventory, a full inventory, and pressing ESC mid-trade. No errors and no lost items. Not tested yet: joining a multiplayer server that does not have the mod (vanilla or modded). Singleplayer runs its own built-in server, so it doesn't show how the mod behaves on a remote server. Feedback in the comments is welcome.

This is light automation, similar to a macro. Please check with the staff of any server you play on whether it is allowed.
