Bunker Building Blocks
Ever wanted to build a proper blast-proof bunker but hated that obsidian can't be moved with pistons? Yeah, me too.
Obsidian Alloy is a new building material that combines the blast resistance of obsidian with the flexibility of normal blocks. Build your secure bases, hidden vaults, and TNT-proof redstone contraptions without compromise.
The Blocks
- Obsidian Alloy Block - Your basic building unit
- Obsidian Alloy Bricks - Full block, slabs, stairs, and walls
- Obsidian Alloy Tiles - Full block, slabs, and stairs
- Chiseled Obsidian Alloy Brick - For when you want to look fancy while being indestructible
- Obsidian Alloy Pillar - Rotatable, like quartz pillars
- Obsidian Alloy Door & Trapdoor - Because your bunker needs an entrance
Why Use This?
Blast-proof - Same explosion resistance as obsidian (1200)
Piston movable - Unlike regular obsidian, you can use these in your redstone builds
Protects adjacent blocks - Blocks placed next to obsidian alloy won't be destroyed by explosions
Wither & Dragon immune - Nothing's getting through
Balanced - Requires a diamond pickaxe to mine
Crafting
Combine Copper Ingot + Obsidian to get Obsidian Alloy Ingots. The rest follows vanilla patterns - if you know how to make stone bricks, you know how to make these.
Full stonecutter support included because clicking is easier than crafting.
Compatibility
This is a simple block mod with no mixins or core mods. Should play nice with just about everything.
