ButAClick packs the most viral "Minecraft BUT..." challenges into a single mod. Type /but, click a challenge in the chat menu, and your world instantly becomes Minecraft BUT it rains TNT, Minecraft BUT every block drops a random item, Minecraft BUT mobs multiply when you hit them...

Stack as many as you dare, let the roulette pick one, or turn on Chaos Mode for a new random challenge every 3 minutes.

/but random_item you get a random item every 10 seconds
/but block_drops every block drops a random item (each block type has its own drop, find the OP ones!)
/but mob_drops mobs drop random OP loot
/but tnt_rain it rains TNT
/but mob_multiply mobs multiply when you hit them
/but damage_effect taking damage gives a random effect
/but jump_mob every jump spawns a random mob
/but xp_border the world border = your XP level
/but chunk_effect every chunk gives a random effect
/but floor_lava the floor is lava (everything you walk on turns to magma)
/but mob_rain it rains mobs
/but lightning lightning strikes every 30 seconds
/but random_tp you get randomly teleported every minute
/but death_swap Death Swap (solo: you swap with a random mob!)

Singleplayer and LAN: everyone can use /but (cheats not required). Dedicated servers: operators only (level 2).

Installation

  1. Pick the file matching your loader (Fabric / Forge / NeoForge) and Minecraft version in the Files tab.
  2. Drop it into your mods folder. That's it, no dependencies.
  3. In game, type /but.

On a server, the mod only needs to be on the server: players can join without installing anything.

FAQ

Does it work with modpacks? Yes. Random items and drops include modded items too.

Is it saved? Active challenges are saved per world and resume when you come back.

Can I use it in my videos? Of course, please do! A link back here is appreciated.
