🥩 ButcherCraft
Build the Plant. Lead the Workforce. Grow the Business.
Welcome to the next generation of Minecraft business simulation.
ButcherCraft is a deep meat processing and management mod where you don't simply automate machines—you build and operate an entire processing plant.
Start as a single butcher performing every task by hand. Expand your facility, purchase industrial equipment, hire employees, organize departments, and eventually oversee a fully functioning production plant powered by the same deterministic systems you use yourself.
Every workstation, employee, production order, and business system is designed to work together as one cohesive simulation.
No magic item teleportation.
No hidden automation.
No shortcuts.
Only authentic production.
🚀 New in v0.10.3-alpha.1
Employee Operations Update
The workforce has officially begun working.
Employees are no longer just standing around waiting for assignments—they can now perform their first real production task.
Once assigned to a Grinder, an employee can process Beef Trim into Ground Beef through the exact same Execution, Scheduler, and Workstation pipeline used by the player.
This milestone represents the first step toward fully automated production while preserving ButcherCraft's deterministic architecture.

- Place industrial equipment.
- Hire employees.
- Assign departments.
- Reserve workstations.
- Load Beef Trim into a Grinder.
- Command an employee to process it.
- Watch the Grinder complete its work through the existing deterministic production pipeline.

- Work autonomously
Those features are actively in development.
🏗 Design Philosophy
ButcherCraft is not an automation mod.
It is a business simulation.
Automation is earned by understanding the production process first.
Every employee uses the same production systems as the player.
Every workstation follows the same validation.
Every operation follows the same deterministic Execution pipeline.
This philosophy keeps gameplay transparent, expandable, and realistic while avoiding hidden mechanics.
❤️ Follow Development
ButcherCraft is under active development.
Every release focuses on complete, player-visible systems instead of isolated features.
Your feedback directly influences future milestones, and every bug report helps make the simulation stronger.
Welcome to the future of industrial Minecraft.
Build the plant.
Lead the workforce.
Grow the business.
🚧 Current Alpha Limitations
The workforce is only beginning.
Employees currently **do not**:
- Transport products.
- Operate the Patty Former.
- Claim Production Orders automatically.
- Perform autonomous production.
- Carry inventory.
- Run complete production chains.
Those features are actively under development.
