Description

Caret Coordinates Port (1.12.2)

Have you ever wanted to use Bedrock Edition's smooth ^ ^ ^ (Caret / Local) coordinates in Minecraft Java 1.12.2, but found yourself stuck with rigid global or relative ~ ~ ~ coordinates?

Caret Coordinates Port brings the ultimate local coordinate system to 1.12.2, allowing you to execute commands relative to your exact player facing direction (Left, Up, Forward).

Universal Compatibility
Unlike other mods that only patch a single command, this mod works with ANY command (vanilla or modded) that normally accepts ~ ~ ~ coordinates!

Because it safely intercepts and translates raw command arguments on the fly before the game parses them, you can use ^ ^ ^ seamlessly everywhere:
- /summon (Spawn entities right where you are looking)
- /tp (Teleport relative to your view angle)
- /setblock / /fill (Build structures relative to your facing)
- /particle (Spawn magic or skill effects right out of your weapon)
- Custom modded commands that use relative coordinates!

How It Works (Per-Axis Rules):
- ^ ^ ^ (All Bare): Acts as a smart raytrace. It shoots along your exact eye look-direction out to 512 blocks and targets the exact block you are looking at.
- Mixed Mode (e.g., ^ ^5 ^): Any bare axis (^) behaves like a bare ~ (current world coordinate unchanged), while numbered axes (^5) calculate true local offsets.
- Full Local (e.g., ^10 ^ ^50): Standard Bedrock-style local math where X = Left/Right, Y = Up/Down, and Z  - If you need to use regular ^ ^ ^ without raytrace(which is completely useless),you can simply use ~~~ or ^0 ^0 ^0.

= Forward/Backward relative to your current rotation (Yaw and Pitch).

Perfect For:
- Mapmakers: Build advanced cinematic tools, custom spells, and complex skill animations.
- RP Servers: Precise placement and spawning using view-based positioning.

Note: When typing commands in-game, make sure to leave spaces between carets (e.g., /summon pig ^ ^ ^50, /setblock anvil ^ ^5 ^5), just like standard coordinates!
