About
Description

Celestial Skill Tree is a mod that transforms your progression into a map of the night sky. Each class is a constellation, each skill is a star, and the entire tree is generated based on your specific world—meaning no two worlds will ever have the same tree!
Spend your experience on skill points, plan a route across the stars, and build the character you want.
Features
- 6 classes: Duelist, Guardian, Arcanist, Marksman, Artificer and Berserker
- A 7th class, the Mage, when Iron's Spells 'n Spellbooks, Ars Nouveau or Malum is installed
- Up to 100 skills per class, each with a real effect
- Keystones that give a big advantage with a drawback
- Ranked skills with up to 5 ranks
- A different tree in every world, generated from the seed
- 12 birth signs with a small permanent bonus
- Falling stars, star showers and eclipses
- Constellated monsters
- Fully data-driven, with KubeJS support
- And much more!
- The Star Chart -
Press O to open the chart. Buy points with your XP, pick a starting star and grow outward: every skill has to connect to one you already own. Nothing is applied until you press Confirm, so you can plan a whole route, undo and redo before spending anything.
- Strange Stars -
Not every star is a simple bonus. Gates link opposite sides of the map, black holes make the skills around them stronger but seal the rest, and some keystones come in exclusive pairs: take one and the other is locked.
- The Living Sky -
At night, falling stars cross the sky and leave a Star Fragment where they land, worth one skill point. Some nights bring a star shower. Some days the moon covers the sun for an eclipse: monsters walk in daylight, undead don't burn, but respecs are free until it ends.
- Constellated Monsters -
Rarely, a monster spawns carrying a small constellation of its own. It is tougher than usual and drops a Star Fragment when a player kills it.
- Respec -
Unlearn a single skill and get back exactly what you paid for it, or reset everything with an Orb of Reconfiguration.

FAQ
Q: Can I use this mod in my modpack? A: Yes! Just keep the credit and don't reupload the jar.
Q: Fabric / Forge / older versions? A: Not planned. NeoForge 1.21.1 only for now.
Q: Can I change the skills?
A: Yes. Classes, skills, keystones and rules are JSON files in a datapack. /celestialskilltree validate shows
exactly which file and field is wrong.
Q: Is it multiplayer friendly? A: Yes. The server validates every purchase, and the server config controls prices, caps and every bonus.
