Description
Cereal Anvil Library
What is this?
Cereal Anvil Library is a library mod that provides the shared anvil system behind the "Cereal Anvil" series of mods. It adds no content of its own — it is the foundation that other anvil mods are built on.
Why do players need it?
The library gives every "Cereal Anvil" block a unified, vanilla-consistent experience:
- ✅ Full anvil functionality — repair tools, equipment and enchanted books exactly like a vanilla anvil
- ✅ Natural degradation — anvils crack and break with use, just as you would expect
- ✅ Consistent behavior — every anvil in the series follows the same rules, so nothing feels out of place
Features
- Generic anvil blocks with three states (intact / chipped / damaged), each anvil family generating all three variants automatically
- Full vanilla anvil repair and enchanting GUI
- Configurable damage chance and fuel behavior (defaults to identical behavior to a normal anvil)
- A "Anvil Collection" creative tab that gathers all anvil blocks for easy browsing
- Built-in gradient crack textures for chipped and damaged states
