ChatMention

A lightweight, clean client-side mod that plays a clear notification chime and displays an actionbar alert whenever your name is mentioned or someone messages you in multiplayer chat.

Never miss important messages while mining, fighting, or AFK!

Features

  • Notification Sound: Plays a crisp bell chime whenever your username is mentioned in public chat or private whispers (/msg, /tell).
  • Actionbar Alert: Shows a quick, non-intrusive alert on your screen: [!] You were mentioned in chat!.
  • Automatic: The mod is enabled by default as soon as you launch the game.
  • 100% Client-Side: Works on all multiplayer servers (Vanilla, Paper, Spigot, Fabric).

Commands

  • /chatmentionon — Enables the mod and plays a test chime.
  • /chatmentionoff — Disables the mod.
