🚀 ChatFS v1.0.0 — Share files directly through Minecraft chat!

ChatFS allows players to send files and entire folders to each other directly in-game through the chat interface, without leaving Minecraft or using external third-party services.

✨ Key Features:

  • 📄 Send Files & Folders: Select individual files or entire folders (folders are automatically compressed into ZIP archives).
  • 🛡 Safe Confirmation: Recipients receive a clear prompt with the filename, size, and optional comment before accepting.
  • ⚡️ Fast Compression: Built-in data compression with support for large transfers (up to 50 MB).
  • ⚙️ Flexible Configuration: Customizable downloads folder and draggable paperclip button position (drag & drop).

🛠 Commands:

  • /chatfs menu — Open the file sending GUI
  • /chatfs settings — Open mod configuration GUI
  • /chatfs send <player> <file> — Send a file via command
  • /chatfs accept <id> — Accept an incoming file transfer by ID

ChatFS allows players to instantly send files, schematics (.litematic), screenshots, and entire folders directly to each other inside Minecraft via in-game chat!

  • Folder Support: Send entire folders — ChatFS automatically archives them to ZIP on the fly.
  • Native Windows File Picker: Select files easily using the native OS file explorer or in-game GUI (/chatfs menu or clicking the 📎 paperclip button).
  • Customizable UI: Drag & drop the paperclip icon anywhere on your screen.
  • Server Protection: Built-in anti-spam, 50 MB limit, and queued stream manager to prevent server lag.
  • Multi-Loader: Works seamlessly on Fabric & NeoForge 1.21+.

🛠️ How to Use:

  1. Press T to open chat and click the 📎 button, or type /chatfs menu.
  2. Select a file or folder using the Browse button.
  3. Enter recipient nickname and optional comment, then click Send!
  4. Recipient clicks [ACCEPT] in chat to save the file into their Downloads folder.
