CLCCraft

This mod will offer a series of blocks, items and features as I learn how to get my ideas for augmenting the game of Minecraft down into code. See the Images tab for images of some of the blocks and items.

Future Versions

I have decided to split this mod up into two and a half mods...for the purposes of dividing two progressions that are developing here into two more focused mods that might get more interest. First the Bark Mulch blocks will become a part of Growing Flowers 2 and will likely be integrated in some more interesting way with flower growth. I will also be creating two new mods. One will be called The Diamond Factory Mod which will offer a new way (via an extensive progression) to obtain Diamonds. The other mod will be called The Pancake Quest Mod and it will feature a progression the end of which is the creation of delicious pancakes like Vanilla Cakes. This will add interesting, inter-related world gen and farming features that will make those pancakes taste extra good as well as provide alternate (vegan) ways to obtain resources.  

World Gen

Flint Stone

• v0.4.1
• Spawns rarely (about equivalent to Iron Ore) in Gravel
• The "standard drop" is 1-9 Flint and 1/3 chance to drop a Flint Syzygem with any pickaxe
• Stone Syzygem Pickaxe will cause this block to drop one of the following:
  • -1/81 chance of 1 Obsidian + 1/3 pickaxe durability lost
  • -1/9 chance of 1 Flint Stone
  • -1/3 chance of 1 Red Sandstone + standard drop
  • -Standard drop x3

Lime Green Maple Tree

• v0.4.1
• Spawns rarely in Forest biomes
• Grows like a Big Oak
• Raw Materials
  • -Lime Green Maple Wood
  • -Sap has a chance to drop from Lime Green Maple Wood
  • -Lime Green Maple Leaves
  • -Lime Green Maple Sapling has a chance to drop from Lime Green Maple Leaves

Stone Syzygem Ore

• v0.3
• Spawns rarely (about equivalent to Iron Ore)
• The block is barely discernable from that of Stone making it easy to miss
• drops Stone Syzygems with any pickaxe
• Stone Syzygem Pickaxe v0.4.1 will cause this block to drop one of the following:
  • -1/81 chance of Bedrock + 1/3 durability cost on pickaxe
  • -1/9 chance of Stone
  • -1/3 chance of 1 Cobblestone + 1 to 3 Stone Syzygems
  • -1-9 Stone Syzygems

Raw Materials

Syzygems

• v0.3
• A substance that carries within it the power of creation and transformation

Flint Syzygem

• v0.4.1
• Drops from Flint Stone which generates in the world
• Can be used to craft a Flint Syzygem Shovel:
  • -3x Stone Shovel durability

Stone Syzygem

• v0.3
• Drops from Stone Syzygem Ore which generates in the world
• Can be used to craft a Stone Syzygem Pickaxe:
  • -3x Stone Pickaxe durability
  • -Using this pickaxe on Stone Syzygem Ore causes interesting results

Crafted Blocks

Bark Mulch

• v0.2
• Six textures crafted from the six Minecraft Woods
• Gravity affected
• See the images page for several examples of possible blends of soil types for that artistic landscaping build you have planned

Glass Blocks

• v0.4.1
• Minecraft's Glass Blocks can be crafted from 6 Glass Panes + Sap

Lime Green Maple Planks

• v0.4.1
• Crafted from Lime Green Maple Wood

Tools

Flint Syzygem Shovel

• v0.4.1
• Crafted from Sticks and 1 Flint Syzygem
• Has three times the durability of a Stone Shovel

Stone Syzygem Pickaxe

• v0.3
• Crafted from Sticks and Stone Syzygems
• Has three times the durability of a Stone Pickaxe

Wood Bucket

• v0.1
• Early game bucket
• Use at your own risk for lava though
• v0.4.1
• Added "helpful" chat message for lava bucket users
• Bucket recipe 3 Wood + 1 Sap
• Bucket takes damage but is repairable with Sap
