Description

Welcome to the world of Composite Modular Adapting Technological Devices, or CMATD for short!

This mod aims to add technology that hasn't been in the game for a while. Or at least, that's what the goal is, plus a little extra flair and such wherever wanted.

Note! This mod is in beta as there are still many changes being pushed to production. Expect some oddities till things are sorted out.

Some base materials included are:

  • Compoundite (a sturdy yet not perfectly iron-like substance, used for crafting low tier stuff, generates near surface to lower deepslate levels in caves)
  • Lodealite (a shiny but durable material used in crafting most machinary, generates near surface to lower deepslate levels in caves)

Base machines included are:

  • Cobble Maker: Generates cobblestone from energy
  • Masher: Mashes things into other things (data driven, inworld interaction)
  • Jam Maker: Makes jams from sugar, jam jars, and a berry of some kind (data driven, only works in daylight hours, saves progress when items are removed mid-craft)
  • Presser: Presses items into other items using patterns (data driven internally, only works in daylight hours)

Energy generators included are:

  • Base Generator (makes power from furnace fuels, generates a fair bit of energy from fuels)
  • Solar Generator (makes little power, and is dependent on time of day)
  • Wind Generator (makes little power, and is dependent on height in world)
  • Hydro Generator (generates power when the vents have flowing water around them)
  • Lunar Generator (makes power using the reflected beams of the sun from the moon, generates significantly less power than the solar generator)
  • Redstone Dynamo Engine (makes power from redstone blocks, each block surrounding it increases power output)
  • Food Reactor (turn some food into energy using jam, decent power output)
  • Lightning Generator (Harness the power of lightning, with a cooldown, strongest output, but slowest to produce if demand is high)
  • Heat Generator (generates wherever a heat source is, like magma or a campfire, medium power output)
  • Gas Vents (vents that produce many types of gas, and can be found nearly anywhere in the world, can be silk touched to obtain)
  • Gas Tank (place next to gas producers to gain gas, and put gas consumers next to the tank)
  • Gas Engine (uses gas to make energy, just put a tank full of gas next to it, with a rotational energy converter next to the rotating engine)
  • Rotational Energy Converter (converts nearby rotating engine spinning into energy, fairly good energy output)

Compats:

  • Just Dire Things (tag support)
  • LaserIO (item, fluid and energy transfer tests)
  • Mekanism (tested with their machines and wires)
  • Industrial Foregoing (custom laser lens ore conditions)
  • EMI (custom recipe support)
  • ProjectE (all items that should have EMC have it, no EMC exploits detected)
  • Jade (custom container info display)
  • Modern Industrialization (for testing recipes and item/fluid interaction)

  • 1.0.1 Update
1.0.1 Update The Food Reactor, Lightning Generator, Heat Generator, Gas Vents, Tanks and Engines are here
  • Natural Resources
Natural Resources There are two unique ores that can be found in newly generated worlds. Compoundite (the orange/rockier looking ore) is used for common machine assembly. Lodealite (the purple/shiner looking ore) is used for more complex part and machine assembly.
  • Passive Generators
Passive Generators These generators make energy for other machines, using natural clean resources, but are significantly weaker producers than the normal generator that uses furnace fuels. Each generator will give a description of it's base FE per tick.
  • Powered and Unpowered Machines
Powered and Unpowered Machines There are two types of machines. Powered and unpowered machines. Unpowered require manual or certain conditions to work, while powered machines require FE to function at all.
  • Tiered Machines
Tiered Machines Some machines can be upgraded with tier upgrade items. These items update the power, speed, and efficiency (depending on machine) of the currently selected machine. Shift-right click to apply the tier upgrade.
  • Lunar Generators and Mod Compat
Lunar Generators and Mod Compat Lunar Generators produce little energy at night, but still might be useful. The mod is also compatible with some other tech mods!
