Description
Futurepack Enabler
Use modern Cobblemon resource packs on Cobblemon 1.5.2 — no pack edits required.
Newer Cobblemon resource packs built for 1.6+, 1.7+, and newer conventions can break on older versions due to missing bones, unsupported Molang queries, animations, or asset paths.
Futurepack Enabler adds a compatibility layer to Cobblemon's asset-loading and rendering pipeline, helping newer packs work correctly on 1.5.2 while safely handling unsupported content instead of crashing.
✨ Features
- 🛡️ Safe asset fallback — Prevents crashes from missing models, posers, bones, and animations.
- 🧩 Molang compatibility — Bridges newer Molang queries and functions used by modern packs.
- 📦 Better resource pack compatibility — Improves asset resolution when using multiple packs together.
- 🖥️ GUI protection — Helps prevent animation-related crashes in the Cobbledex, Party, PC, Trade screens, and other interfaces.
🎮 Recommended: PokeRider
For the best experience, Retropack Enabler is recommended alongside PokeRider.
PokeRider adds advanced Pokémon mounting features and extra animations, including running and gliding, making modern resource packs feel much closer to their newer-version experience.
📋 Requirements
- Minecraft: 1.20.1
- Cobblemon: 1.5.2
- Loader: Fabric or Forge
- Side: Client-side only
Note: Futurepack Enabler is a compatibility/rendering layer, not a resource pack. You still need the resource packs you want to use.
