CobbleQuests & Expeditions — the Trainers’ Guild

Send your Pokémon on expeditions, take on guild quests, and unlock new features on your SmartWatch as you level up. CobbleQuests & Expeditions adds a Trainers’ Guild to Cobblemon where you can get started.

Getting started

The Trainers’ Guild generates naturally in the Overworld. Find the building and talk to the guild leader to join and receive your SmartWatch.

You’ll also find an Expedition Board at the guild. Right-click it to open the expedition menu. You can craft one for your base, too.

Expeditions

Pick three Pokémon from your PC. Before you set out, you can see the opponents, recommended types, and final reward. When there are two routes, the tougher one offers better finds. Choose which flag your team will use for its one group heal.

Follow your team on the map and check the field log for encounters, healing, and fainted Pokémon. Items picked up along the route are finds. Win and you’ll get all your finds, the final reward, and Trainer XP. Lose and you’ll keep half your finds.

You can run up to two expeditions at once. Higher difficulties unlock as your Trainer level rises. Pay the entry fee in diamonds or use CobbleDollars if that mod is installed.

Guild quests

Examples of fishing, gathering, breeding, and capture quests

Catch a Pokémon someone’s looking for, fish up a specific species, gather supplies, or breed a Pokémon with the requested IVs. Breeding quests can ask for up to three naturally perfect IVs. You can have one active quest of each kind.

Use your SmartWatch to check your quest log, Trainer level, and stats. As you level up, you unlock portable healing, PC access, and breeding.

You can claim Pokédex rewards from your watch at 20%, 40%, 60%, 80%, and 100% completion in each generation.

If you have PokéBlocks installed, milestones from 40% onward can also reward you with a Pokémon plush. Higher milestones award rarer plushes.

Breeding and hatching

When you collect an egg, it goes into your party, or into your PC if your party is full. Walk 500 blocks with the egg in your party to hatch it. You can send the egg out to watch it roll beside you while you walk. When it hatches, the Pokémon takes the egg’s place in your party and keeps the traits it inherited.

Rewards and compatibility

Bottle Caps improve one imperfect IV, Gold Bottle Caps maximize all IVs, and Magic Bottle Caps turn a Pokémon Shiny. Mega Showdown is optional and adds compatible items to some reward pools.
