About

Description

This mod adds several types of coins that can be used for decoration, custom quests, role play, and simple economy systems. There are five tiers of coins. Players can get Copper, Iron, and Gold coins by smelting their respective ingot in the furnace or blast furnace.

Coin Conversion

Players can convert their coins into higher and lower tiers using various crafting recipes. For example an Iron Coin can be converted into 9 Copper Coin using a crafting table. Players can also combine 9 coins of the same tier to create a pile of coins item. The pile of coins allows players to better store large volumes of coins. The pile of coins can also be smelted to obtain a single coin of the next tier.

1 Copper Coin = 1 Copper
1 Iron Coin = 9 Copper
1 Gold Coin = 9 Iron, or 91 Copper
1 Diamond Coin = 9 Gold, 91 Iron, or 729 Copper
1 Netherite Coin = 9 Diamond, 91 Gold, 729 Iron, or 6561 Copper

Banner Patterns

Players can use the coin design in their banners by crafting the coin banner pattern stencil. This item is crafted by combining shears, paper, and any coin or pile of coins in a crafting table. The stencil can be used at a loom to apply a coin of any tier, or use a grayscale coin that can be reliably colored to any of the 16 minecraft colors. When using the exact coin tier pattern option it is recommended to use white dye to ensure the color is exactly the same.

Disabling Recipes

We are regularly asked how certain recipes from this mod can be disabled. Just like every other mod, our recipes can be disabled using datapacks which are a vanilla feature, or CraftTweaker if you need more control. We have created several datapacks that handle common scenarios, these can be placed in the datapacks folder of your world or loaded through a mod like Open Loader.

  • Disable ALL Recipes - This pack will disable every recipe added by the mod, giving you a clean slate to add your own recipes and mechanics. This includes all crafting, furnance, and blast furnace recipes.
  • Disable Upgrade Recipes - This pack will disable the recipes for smelting coin piles into higher tier coins.
  • Disable Ingots to Coin Recipes - This pack will disable the recipes for smelting copper/iron/gold ingots into their respective coin type.
