A SMALL DETAIL THAT MAKES TIGHT SPACES FEEL CLOSER

Crampedness

Supports Punchy and Vic's Point Blank.

Walk up to a wall, squeeze past a tree, or stand close to a mob. Your held items gently pull back toward you, then settle into place as you move away.

Small movements, natural reactions

  • Smooth transitions. Items ease in and out of the retracted pose.
  • Aware of your surroundings. Reacts to nearby blocks, mobs, and other players.
  • Independent hands. Separate reactions and left-handed support on Minecraft 1.12.2+.
  • Adapts to your actions. A lighter effect while swinging or mining, paused while using an item.

Empty hands and maps keep their normal animations. Reach, hitboxes, and gameplay stay unchanged.

Make it your own

Close the game and open config/crampedness-client.toml:

enabled = true
strength = 1.0

Adjust strength from 0 to 2, or set enabled to false to turn the effect off.

Client-side only

Works in singleplayer and multiplayer. No server installation or Fabric API required.
