Crayfishers Refurbished: Post Box Addon

Crayfishers Refurbished: Post Box Addon

A little more magic in every mailbox. 💌

Sending a gift, sharing supplies, or leaving a surprise for a friend should feel special. Crayfishers Refurbished: Post Box Addon expands the mailing system from MrCrayfish's Furniture Mod: Refurbished with a charming notebook interface, bulk deliveries, personalized messages, helpful notifications, and plenty of little improvements.

Whether you're exchanging gifts with neighbors or keeping an entire community connected, there's always something lovely about receiving a little mail.

✉️ A Lovely New Post Box Interface

The familiar Post Box has received a cozy visual refresh! A notebook inspired interface brings together a blue mailbox directory, warm parchment pages, and a beautifully organized delivery area.

Browse mailboxes, select recipients, write personalized messages, and prepare packages without leaving the screen. The Delivery Preview lets you review outgoing items before sending.

With six package slots, improved inventory organization, smooth scrolling, and responsive scaling across different Minecraft GUI sizes, sending mail feels easier and more delightful than ever.

📦 Send to One Friend or Many

Why send the same gift over and over when you can share it with everyone at once?

Select multiple mailboxes and send packages in a single delivery! The bulk distribution system divides available items between recipients while respecting Minecraft's inventory stack limits.

The Delivery Preview reflects the planned distribution, so you can see what each recipient is expected to receive before sending. Successfully delivered packages are removed from your inventory, while undelivered items remain available.

💌 Signed with Love... or Sent in Secret

Every package can carry a personal touch. Add a message to your delivery and choose how you'd like it to arrive.

Myself sends your package with your usual sender identity, perfect for friendly gifts and everyday deliveries. Secret hides your identity from the recipient, making it wonderful for anonymous surprises and mysterious little presents!

Secret deliveries remain attributable to their real senders in server administrator logs, helping community servers maintain accountability without spoiling the surprise.

🔔 Never Miss a Little Mail

Receive a notification when someone sends you a package, even if you weren't online when it arrived!

Mail received while offline can be announced when you return, and multiple waiting deliveries are combined into a single notification rather than flooding your screen.

Optional reminders help you remember unopened packages waiting in your mailbox. Reminder intervals follow Minecraft days, making them feel right at home in your world.

📬 Smarter Mailboxes

Small improvements make a big difference! Hover over a mailbox owner's player head to see whether they're currently Online or Offline, without cluttering the mailbox directory with extra icons.

New and renamed mailbox names are checked against their rendered width, helping prevent longer names from overflowing the interface while leaving existing names untouched.

Mailbox flag improvements are designed to keep the red flag raised while uncollected packages are waiting, rather than lowering it simply because someone opened the mailbox.

🌸 Beautiful Delivery Feedback

Sending packages brings back the familiar animated notification banner from Refurbished Furniture, displayed neatly above the notebook interface rather than covering the message editor or Delivery Preview.

Successful deliveries receive a cheerful green notification, while warnings and failed deliveries receive appropriate feedback. The interface automatically adjusts to different Minecraft GUI scales and screen sizes.

Prefer to keep writing and sending? An optional setting lets you leave the Post Box open after a successful delivery instead of automatically closing it.

⚙️ Make It Your Own

Customize your mailing experience with configurable notifications, reminder intervals, mailbox status tooltips, and Post Box behavior.

Through Mod Menu, you can toggle mailbox owner status tooltips and the option to keep the Post Box open after sending. Changes to this setting apply immediately, without restarting Minecraft.

All addon settings are kept together in one configuration file: config/refurbished_postbox_addon.json

🌿 Built with Care

Rather than introducing a completely separate mail system, this addon works with Refurbished Furniture's existing Post Boxes, Mailboxes, and package delivery service.

Version 1.3.0 includes improved mailbox inventory handling, removal of problematic world loading hooks, and fewer unnecessary inventory allocations, while preserving the familiar mailing experience.

Even our new mod icon celebrates the original Post Box! Featuring its recognizable blue and white design, clean Minecraft inspired pixel art, and our signature pink border, it's a little matching touch for our cozy mailing addon.
